This is the legal Blackberry (Rim) cUsb charger : BlackBerry 9630 Tour Charging USB 2.0 Data Cable
I purchased three of these cables, one to keep in my laptop bag, one in my car, and one as a backup. All three of my cables were defective. After being plugged in for a few minutes, the association fails between my car charger and the phone, as well as my laptop or wall socket and the phone. As a result, I was unable to use my phone for three days - for it died just after advent - while on a trip across the country foremost my house to fear something had happened to me because I was unable to sense them. I would avoid purchasing these, for some of them seem to work while a vast majority don't seem to, and, from person who's been in the situation, I wouldn't want to risk hoping you get the one that works when you actually need it.
